Your life has been filled with laugh and tears in the past few days. First, it was time for your two-month check-up at the pediatrician. Just like all the other kids, this was also the time for your first set of vaccinations.
You took the shots pretty well. You did cry a lot, but calmed down shortly after. Best of all, there were no side effects, not even fever. The doctor said you're really strong and developing well. You hold your head up well and you can push the head up to 90 degrees when on the belly.

You had grown a lot! Your weight is now in the 97th percentile and the length in the 90th. Your mom is convinced that the nurse didn't do accurate job when measuring your length though, as she got even longer figure when she measured you at home.
Back home you were quite active for most of the day, so the vaccinations didn't wear you out. Overall you've started spending more and more time awake, observing the world around you with a great deal of curiosity.
You love little games and gym time. A little bit of baby exercise makes you very happy, and yesterday laughed out loud for the first time when I was helping you stand up, and then sit down again. Today your mom was doing more baby gym with you and I heard you laughed quite a bit!

You love to be held by daddy - you could spend the whole day on my lap. As long as I keep moving, that is. Unfortunately it's getting more and more hot these days so this is becoming a little unpractical. The two of us are generating quite a bit of heat, which results in sweating, which is something your mom doesn't appreciate...
Fortunately in the past few days you've started becoming more independent. You enjoy spending some time on your own, looking at things and kicking and making funny little sounds. You seem to be growing and learning new things every day, let's see what the next big things will be!
