Behind its distinguished façade, located in the heart of Budapest, the old Grand Hotel Royal has been transformed into the superb, modern Corinthia Grand Hotel Royal. This new hotel has become the finest in Budapest and has set a new standard in luxury five star city centre hotels. With its wealth of interior architectural detailing carefully restored and incorporated, the Corinthia Grand immediately regained its status as the focal point of elegant hospitality when it reopened in 2003.

The newly opened luxurious Royal Spa ensures the prefect relaxation to body and soul. The Royal Spa offers a wide range of facilities including a 15 metre swimming pool, several relaxation areas, saunas, steam bath, jacuzzis, a fitness room, tropical rain showers, Niagara bathtubs, mud baths, seaweed baths, as well as a variety of therapeutic and massage treatments.

The Corinthia Grand Hotel has a distinguished facade, which has been recreated to become the finest luxury hotel in the heart of Budapest. This hotel will join the Wyndham Grand Collection in mid 2008. Until these changes occur, amenities and programs may vary from that of a Wyndham Grand Collection Hotel. Please be advised that due to the deep cleaning of our swimming pool, this area of our Spa will not be available during the 6th, 7th and 8th of January 2010. Spa treatments and other areas of the Spa and Fitness will however still be available during this time. During this period we offer free transfer to our sister hotel, the Ramada Plaza Budapest and free entry to their Aphrodite Spa.

In order to keep the relaxing ambiance in the spa, please be informed that no children under the age of 16 will be allowed in the Royal Spa. The services of the Aphrodite Spa at the Ramada Plaza Budapest are available instead, including a free transfer.

Please note that pets are not allowed in apartments. In all other rooms pets are allowed at an additional cost.

Please be advised that due to the deep cleaning of the swimming pool, this area of the spa will not be available from 6 to 8 January 2010. Spa treatments and other areas of the spa and fitness centre will still be available during this time.

Each of the 414 luxuriously designed guest rooms and suites are equipped with colour TV with movie channels, private electronic safes and telephones with voice mail.

We are pleased to inform you that the entry to the royal Spa is complimentary for our hotel guests.

Superior single / double rooms: We have white doors and white wardrobes and medium cherry bed headboards, side tables and desks.

Executive single / double rooms: All rooms are located on the first and second floor with a view onto the Grand Boulevard or the Atrium. The room doors as well as the furniture are made of mahogany.

Deluxe suite: One-bedroom Suite with 70 sq. meters

Bar & Lobby Lounge (with live piano music) is open daily from 10:00-01:00

The Royal Kávéház & Szamos Marcipán Cafe is open daily from 09:00-20:00.

Rickshaw Far Eastern Restaurant & Sushi Bar is open from Tuesday to Saturday from 18:00-23:00.

Brasserie Royale & Atrium Restaurant is open daily from 06:00-23:00.

Bock Bistro is open from Monday to Saturday from 12:00-24:00.

Getting around in Budapest with the excellent public transportation network  is very confortable. The town has an inexpensive and efficient public transportation system and easy links between the metro, HEV trains, buses, trams and trolleybuses. Tickets can bought from metro stations, kiosks and newsstands. If trevelling by taxi, ensure that the car has a working meter.

The Corinthia Grand Hotel Royal is located in the heart of Budapest on Erzsébet Boulvard, district VII. The Hotel is within easy walking distance of the Opera House, major theatres and attractions, close to the main business and shopping area, and only 30 minutes (18 km) by car from Budapest Airport (Ferihegy).
